Where Do I Begin?
I've always enjoyed working out and been fairly fit. I grew up doing sports and as an adult enjoy going for the occasional run, walk, bike ride, or hike. Since finding out I was pregnant however, I haven't been the best at sticking to a workout routine, nor really working out in general at this point. The third trimester may not be the best time to dive back in, but they say it's never too late, so with precaution of course and just looking to keep my baby healthy I've decided I might as well give it a go.
That being said, like many working women, my options are semi limited. I don't have time for a long workout, don't want to sign up or pay for a class, nor take the time to stop somewhere else before going home after a long work day. I know. Excuses! But, I want a simple, quick workout I can do at home, on my own, for free. Is that to much to ask for? Well it might be, especially considering the only workouts I can now do are for pregnant women, and I'm talking third trimester, belly and all type workouts.
Could this be the Answer to My Prayers?
After searching online, for a while I might add, I came across the AMAZING blog, Nourish, Move, Love featuring certified trainer and mom, Lindsey Bomgren and her team.
Her page has so much to offer, but the best part is she has FREE and SAFE downloadable pregnancy workouts! Each plan comes with a month long workout calendar, with workout name, time, and video link to follow along with. Once you download the calendar, you can click the link and follow along with the full workout on YouTube. But the best part, is you aren't just working out with anyone. Nope! Lindsey too is pregnant in her videos and working out along with you. If that's not motivation and togetherness, I don't know what is.
They have a generic pregnancy workout, good for those active pre-pregnancy and in any trimester, or workouts specifically tailoring for each trimester of pregnancy. To accommodate everyone, I decided to try out the generic 30 day pregnancy workout from Nourish, Move, Love, which you can download and gain access to the videos for simply by clicking the picture below.
