Celebrating Valentines Day in style!
After what a hit the holiday Christmas Tree Cinnamon Rolls still are on the blog and Instagram even after the holidays have ended, I decided to change it up a little and add a Valentines Day Holiday twist this time. Just like the original recipe these include less sugar and fat then the container recipes, add a cute holiday flair, and include fruit for that extra healthy bonus. Check out the recipe below.

Ingredients:
1 can, Pillsbury Reduced Fat Cinnamon Rolls (with icing)- comes with 8 rolls
Note: These are not dairy free but IMMACULATE Baking Company sells delicious organic and dairy free cinnamon rolls you can buy heres.
1 drop of red food coloring
1 apple (diced into small pieces)
2 tbsps butter (regular or dairy free)
cinnamon
tooth picks
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F and grease one baking sheet.
Open your cinnamon rolls, pulling off one roll at a time, and unrolling it as you do. Shape them into spiraled hearts (like pictured above), pinch the bottoms to have them hold their point, and insert a toothpick to help them hold their shape. Place spread apart on baking sheet.
In the small opening at the bottom, smash in as many pieces of diced apples as you can. Place a small chunk of butter on top of the apples, then sprinkle with a tiny bit of cinnamon.
Place them in the oven and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping half way through if you'd like for an even bake.
Meanwhile heat your icing for 20 seconds in the microwave, add one drop red food coloring, then mix.
Remove baking sheet from the oven and let hearts cool. Drizzle with a thin spread of your red/ pink icing.
Don't forget to remove the toothpicks before you serve them!
